Dear Moto GP riders...

Let me get this straight, you can do what you do week end in and week end out but are afraid to go 150 miles away from the Fukushima nuclear accident site for 3 days? You have got to be kidding me. You all, well most all ride Japanese bikes and this is how you give back? Takes more than a sticker, Stoner...

2011 MotoGP: it's Stoner under the lights of Quatar

3 comments:

Casey Stoner was the man in the inaugural 2011 MotoGP under the lights of the Losail circuit in Quatar. He beat out Jorge Lorenzo on the Yamaha and Dani Pedrosa on the other Honda. Valentino Rossi, after a great start ended up seventh, fighting a nasty handling Ducati and pain from his recent shoulder operation.

Video: Alonso and Massa head to head on ice.

1 comment:
Every year Ferrari organizes a couple of days in Madonna di Campiglio to introduce drivers to the press and do photo ops. It always ends with a Fiat product on ice show followed by the highlight, ice karts.

This year Grandpa Schumi was otherwise engaged but it looks like it was an entertaining show none the less. Nice inside pass on Massa there Fernando... everyone is all smiles now but I wonder if it was Felipe who then spun Alonso out. It's going to be tricky this year for Ferrari.

In the end it looks like it was Nicky Hayden who "won" the race, last year it was Stoner, no wonder Ferrari keeps dreaming of Rossi!

So you want an Alfa Romeo 8c?

No comments:
I have it from a fairly reliable source that if you would like to own one of the 500 Alfa Romeo 8c you have better have a good pedigree.

When the Alfa Romeo "Brand Ambassador" comes to visit with the exclusive titanium colored human baby leather presentation briefcase containing the paint chips (black, Racing yellow, Alfa red and Competition red) and interior leather samples, you better show him the keys to some nice hardware you have previously purchased....something along the lines of an F40, F50 or an Enzo, they might let some of the 599 buyers slide I guess.

Getting a test drive might be a little easier, all you have to do is win the MotoGP championship. Here, courtesy of Alfa Romeo is a clip of Ducati's Casey Stoner throwing around the most desirable GT on the planet. Kudos to Alfa for not editing out his spin...less so for not including the sound!
