Hypercar Battles: LaFerrari enters the 'Ring

The guys over at RSR Nürburg were kind enough to go shoot the Ferrari LaFerrari (I'm sorry, I still gag every time...) ripping around the Nordschleife at the moment.

The sound is good but the speed, is it good enough?  We'll find out eventually, but only if the boys from Maranello break Porsche's recent record.

There are few guys in the world who could describe the La Ferrari as  good for a road car.    Fernando would be one.

Here he is  giving it a go at Fiorano in his shorts,  all you "I drive flat out" types who show up at track days with a full fire suits, take note....

La Ferrari: THE Ferrari as in, the essence of everything Ferrari has learned about making cars.

The name will be controversial, what will not be controversial is what Ferrari have achieved with this car, arguably the best looking of the new class of hypercars, from its Ferrari 156 "shark nose" to its complete lack of visible aero appendages. With the performance figures of the F150 you have to wonder how the two guys who bought the new Lambo for almost four time the price feel about it....other than they might own one of these too.
