La Ferrari

Ron Dennis wondering if he should name
the  next one "TheMclaren"
La Ferrari: THE Ferrari as in, the essence of everything Ferrari has learned about making cars.

The name will be controversial, what will not be controversial is what Ferrari have achieved with this car, arguably the best looking of the new class of hypercars, from its Ferrari 156 "shark nose" to its complete lack of visible aero appendages. With the performance figures of the F150 you have to wonder how the two guys who bought the new Lambo for almost four time the price feel about it....other than they might own one of these too.

Get specs right from the horse's mouth

  1. BRAVO MARANELLO BRAVO!!! Tonight I will be going to Olive Garden to celebrate. Considerably better looking than the P1. With this offering, Maranello tells the boys from Woking, "GO GET YOUR SHINE BOX!" or in this case, "GO GET YOUR ARMOR ALL!!!!"

    1. I get the feeling this thing might weigh in closer to 3500 pounds if not more. Hopefully I'm wrong.

    2. How does a corvette get named in the same sentence as any Ferrari , the old saying is apt " you can't put brains in monuments"

  6. For general girth and shape, it's like a different Huayra.

  8. I really didn’t think the Enzo or F40 could be topped, but wow, top it they did.

A little detail I really like is how when you look at it with the doors up, it looks like there’s a black shell, and the red part of the body is a secondary casing.

  9. I'm an old school Ferrari kinda guy, myself. As great as the new cars are, I will always prefer 3 pedals to 2. The F-50 is my all time favorite Ferrari for so many reasons. I really like the Enzo but never fully fell in love with it. This new LaFerrari is an instant attention getter in my book. Not crazy about the name by any means but sexy & exotic is dripping from this stallion.
