Short and sweet, a minute and a half for a lap around one of the world's great tracks, Road Atlanta. You are onboard the Doran Design, Robertson Racing Ford GT. Enjoy.
What's amazing is how relaxed the car sounds and how technically unamazing the telemetry information is. This from a GT2 class car at the Petit Le Mans! I wonder which driver is behind the wheel.
I was going to say the same thing, sounds like thecar is coasting in the turns. But it looks like the start of the race and with full tanks? Sure eats up that Lizard that got a bad exit before the long straight though!
@CG. I think Murry usually drives the red striped Piloti sponsored car, this may be Mrs Robertson or her co driver whose name escapes me at the moment...
Seems like Chris Hall may have been the co-driver at Petit, AC. Chris is a Road ATL native, but I thought he and Murray would have been flogging it harder. -Freep
What race was this? Last years ALMS??
ReplyDeleteRoad America is a fantastic track. So many great American circuits.
ReplyDeleteThat poor Jaguar XKR at the start didn't stand a chance...
ReplyDelete@ Murph, that was actually the Extreme Motorsports Ferrari F430.
ReplyDelete@pinball road america is also a great track...

ReplyDelete@Jeremy Yes.. the 2010 Petit Le Mans
ReplyDeleteThe driver most likely is David Murry...
ReplyDeleteGreat guy, and very involved with driver coaching at DE's and Club Races

ReplyDeleteroad atlanta or road america, which does Axis like better? (to drive) assume in more of a momentum car, as opposed to a corvette :)
