Robert Kubica had said it was his lifelong dream to compete in the Rally of Monte Carlo. Bummer, the engine in his Renault Clio surrendered about five miles into the first stage and poof went poor Robert's dreams of Monty glory. Cheer up Robert, I'm sure that's not an omen for your first Formula 1 season with the Regie. Maybe this clip will make you feel better, it's from when rallying was actually popular.
