I'm glad you posted.. I honestly don't remember Mr. Windsor doing anything worthwhile, just talking about and praising his boyfriend. I really wish our telecasts weren't so biased. Kubica '09
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I wasn't the only one who noticed...
ReplyDeleteFor LYING you jackass!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat strip! you should make it regular. PW gets my blood pressure up with his media-fellatio of LH at least once every telecast.
I'm with Phil - BMW and Kubica FTW this season.
ReplyDeletePeter Windsor is bit of a tool considering as a broadcaster, he should show no bias towards any one team or driver - however, he continues to gush over Hamilton just because he's British. Get his ass out of there - let DC take his spot instead.
@Rich - Media fellatio - perfect description.
Did anybody notice how Windsor conducted the interview with Biatore during Friday practice? He walked away before Biatore finished answering his question (which was more rhetorical than anything else). How is that appropriate? I hope Peter does end up with Danica and Speed so his team can finish in 21st and 22nd in every race.
ReplyDeleteNo Danica please, Takagi was already bad enough.
ReplyDeleteJust let him rave on about Lewis H, I stopped listerning to him a long time ago and just focus on what is going on track. Makes the whole thing a lot more doable.
Peter spoke exactly like many of us feel. why should he be penalized for Trulli running wide?
ReplyDeletedont give me the LIES crap.
decide the freakin races on the track not by stewards who don't know the first thing about racing!
He said the same thing during practice yesterday as well. I guess Peter Hamilton needed to express his feelings TWICE!
ReplyDelete"PW gets my blood pressure up with his media-fellatio of LH at least once every telecast."
ReplyDeleteRich, my friend, that was the most perfect statement ive heard all week. I fell out of my chair laughing.
Thanks you good sir.
PS. More axis comic strips! nice execution
I am against the flow on this one. Hammy should not have been penalised. Only the team should have been penalised. Hamilton performed as instructed, he performed his job.
ReplyDeleteI find the concidence of Mclaren's lack of pace and Clan Hamilton's sudden "I'm shocked at having been forced to lie" stance interesting.
ReplyDeletelying in order to make it seem like others cheated, when you know your words are being captured on tape is pretty dumb.
ReplyDeleteWindsor wasn't shy about saiyng he would have done precisely what davey Ryan did if he was in his shoes... as if people lie to the stewards all the time and everybody knows it...
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting. I really don't see how the circus tolerates Windsor. I've have often found his journalistic integrity questionable . . . as it seems he spends more effort trying to create scandal than simply marveling at the sport.
ReplyDeleteI've posted my thoughts before regarding his unflappable glee for Hamilton . . . and this comment might be among the more absurd.
I'm also bit amused by the McLaren/Hamilton apologists in the room . . . the "lies crap" comment is the best. How does one make it through this life with hear no evil, see no evil blinders?
