Yep. Sad sad day one year ago. I ended up at Lanark laying flowers outside the entrance to his estate the next day with some friends of mine from the Subaru club. It was surreal then, and to some extent it still is.
But in that year there was the memorial service which was so hugely attended and then 2 weekends ago the McRae Gathering where we spelt the name out with the cars. There's also the McRae stages rally in 2 weeks time where people like Vatanen, Mikkola, Blomquist, Waldegard and I believe Pastrana and Block are coming over from America to help remember him.
