Production Targa tagged...

"Spy" photos always make us chuckle. Like car manufacturers don't know when they drive a soon to be released model (Detroit Auto show in this case) on public streets, that it will be photographed. Nice acting job by the minders here though, very dramatic!
Quattroroute, Italy's oldest car magazine, had these pictures, snapped in Germany, of what is supposedly a final, production version of the 991 Targa. More back to the future styling, with the return of the metallic roll bar, a cloth roof and the large wrap around rear glass.
Like with the 997, there should be 4 and 4S versions.

The Maranello symphony orchestra brings you the exhaust stylings of the Ferrari 458 Monte Carlo and the Ferrari F70. Monte Carlo is the rumored moniker for the "Scuderia" version of the 458 while the F70 will be the "Next Enzo" top of the line, no holds barred insane red object of desire.

Porsche 991 GT3 Cup, first testing video

This is described as a Porsche 991 GT3 Carrera Cup testing in black livery at the Oschersleben Motorsport Arena in central Germany. The successor to the 997 GT3 Cup is slated for the 2014 season.
Our friend Sergini, who is well plugged in with these things is sure the car will have a single clutch hydraulic gearbox not a double clutch like say, the Ferrari 458 Challenge.
All Porsche racers are eagerly waiting for the new generation of race cars, especially the RSR, so they can have a fair fight with the various 458 and Audi R8s dominating now.

...photographed while testing that new seven speed manual in traffic right in Fiat's back yard, Torino. You can click on the thumbnails for a larger version, the car still has camouflage on the lights but what details do you notice? One thing I noticed in the accompanying article was the mention of a whole new slew of electronic aides apparently new to the 991.
