The non boring version....
From the 1983 BBC organized competition pitting road racers vs rally racers in equally awful Austin-Rover products. The competition consisted of a short rally stage in a Rover Vitesse and a road course race in MG Maestros. Actually a fun race between Nigel Mansell and John Watson. Makes you wonder why bother with pointless sleep stuff like the Race Of Champions...

Sometimes fans casually condemn a driver as no so good or question when he complains a car is not suited to him. In this clip, Giorgio Piola, author of all those fantastic technical drawings you have seen for the past thirty years and one of the world's most qualified F1 commentators, explains that which may not be immediately apparent from the outside.
Continue for more of Piola's insights, fascinating.
Ever the PR geniuses, Red Bull have created a web site with all manner of fascinating content. These clips are only a small part of all the great material you can find at RedBulletin.com

"Il Leone", Nigel Mansell has some choice comments on young Lewis Hamilton. Fair or sour grapes? Comparing different drivers across different eras is always a bit of an exercise in futility but it's tough to deny Hamilton is making the most out of the best possible situation having made his Formula 1 debut with the top team and the best car of the moment.
Take a look at the web site this video is sourced from: SportAsylum.com has many interesting videos and articles I think will interest our tracktard race fans.

Please note the quick M5 wagon...and the slooooow Skylines accompanied by some choice comments.
OK, StraighOn....if that is your real name, the gauntlet is thrown. We are at Watkins Glen today and tomorrow, Summit Point Saturday and Sunday, we'll see what we can come up with.
(StraightOn from JGF with the gray M3CSL above says the M5 Wagon was driven by Nigel Mansell and his sons....how cool is that?)
