There has been much gushing on twitter and elsewhere about Ferrari's "halo" mock up tested today in Spain.
We are all for safety but this seems to be a compromise designed to appease portions of the media.
If we decide to do away with open cockpit racing we should decide to do so but this type of solution is not only visually horrible but also arguably, mostly useless.
And it makes cars supposedly at the peak of motorsport technology, look like flip flops.
