Sebastien Loeb tested the Peugeot 208 T16, now in its full Red Bull livery on the windy roads of Mont Ventoux, in the south of France, in preparation for his assault on the Pike's Peak record at the end of June. Sick.
Funny. We just drove up Mt. Ventoux last week, en famille in an Opel Meriva turbo. Oddly the steepest bits are at the bottom, up to 14 percent grade. The top of Ventoux is a very smooth, relatively safe road, because it's used for the Tour de France every year. Should be on everyone's short list of roads to drive before you die, especially if you're a motorcyclist or bicyclist. The lesser known approach road is less steep but rougher and more twisty.
That's a'lotta wing
