1:23 at Road Atlanta...with Air Conditioning

Granted, Top Speed Motorsport is capable of extracting over 1000 HP out of a GT-R but even with a slightly more sane tune, you would still have to keep it on the road and have the balls to drive this Godzilla around the corners properly. That's where Leh Keen comes in.

Just to put it in perspective, pole for this year's Porsche GT3 Challenge at Road Atlanta was 1:26 so 1:23 is ..."not bad" for a road legal car.

Isn't that like comparing apples to oranges though? Rear wheel drive car to AWD. Plus the GT-r has what double the horsepower?

    1. Oh yes absolutely, and you have one of they top driver in the US in the car too, but it still has a radio and AC..while the other in is pretty much a straight up 2600lbs race car with a "scant 450hp" so , I'm impressed.

    2. Yea it was a good video. Sounds good for sure. Why do they always have the larger shot of the driver? Do they think he's going to somehow do something magic if the camera's not on him? I've seen a lot of videos like this and it always bugs me. I'd rather see the nose cam as the larger image and the driver as secondary but thats just me.

Also the GT-R probably weighs nearly twice as much as the Porsche Challenge cars.

    3. not how I might have composited the videos but I do enjoy seeing the drive to watch his hands, tells you much more than just viewing the track rushing by.

  3. Great run love that track, simple but epic. I think there are some vids of Leh taking a stock GTR around VIR somewhere on youtube, he seems very comfortable with throwing around that much weight, a diff animal than rear bias GT3 CUP, Looks like he could have chipped away a another second or two, but when its not your car....

  4. 171mph on the back straight! I seem to recall the R8 LMP cars doing about the same back in the day..

  5. 1) At the back straight braking zone, I'm at like 135 or so in my Cayman. Keen hits that at the bridge on the back straight.

    2) This video makes me feel less bad about getting walked all over by guys in GTRs at practically every track day.

    1. 135 at the bridge even though he really has to wait to give it some throttle angle coming out of 7!

  6. The air test is not the only test that you need for your air conditioner. You can also allow them energy efficient to test on your device. This test shows how your system works. Air Conditioning Melbourne
