  1. Am I missing something? What is this stuff?

  2. I'm guessing you bolted this onto the front of the car as an air splitter? Or maybe along the sides as a side skirt?

  3. i'm curious too. pretty crappy post in all honesty.

  4. I'm guessing it is a cheap and easily replaceable spoiler lip as well. The ricer kiddos use the foam strip used on garage doors as a simulated lip, but by running a longer lip, you're probably netting some good results.

  10. So, ghetto lip or sealing off some of the hood area?

  11. you guys figured it out, it's a simple front air dam. I got the idea from my spec e30 buddies. The stuff is cheap and very sturdy yet flexible. it's a win win especially since it actually woks some!.

Added benefits? somehow better engine cooling, don't ask me how, but since I've put it on the water thermostat needle has not moved!

  12. You're probably getting better cooling due to less air going under the bumper allowing more air through the radiator/engine bay and under the car.
Looks pretty normal and you can't argue with the results.

  13. So what do the Spec E30 guys do with it? Share some stuff for the rest of us grassroots racers!

  16. I did this on my E36, but used a different form of pavement edging. Looks pretty good on my car, IMO. It's indestructible, and cost me $9.00...
