Clown car show, Aussie style

"For those of you just tuning in at home, this actually IS professional motor racing...".
With apologies to all you Legends racers out there... but this is makes "I was seventh" seem reasonable and professional!

For NASA folks, can you imagine Chris Cobetto pulling this?

(thanks Gordon!)

  1. What a Douchon(Douche/Moron), think french accent. I would like to know more about the little cars they run.

  2. The driver, Phil Ward, is the guy who started the series and manages it too and owns the parent company for the series.

He was charged for bringing the sport into disrepute, fined 2 grand, hes been kicked out of the championship and has lost his position in the series management.

Aussie Racing Cars are a space frame chassis car thats pretty much an open wheeler and is powered by a 1.2L Yamaha bike engine.
Then a fibreglass body of either a Ford, Holden or Toyota is placed over this frame so it looks like people race around in 50% scale V8supercars.
The cars have more grip than a v8supercar and are more fun to drive than one too. The racing is awesome, you'll often see cars enter 5 wide into a corner.
