Axis Light

So the Freep sends me over Damon Lavrinc's review of the BMW 1M Coupé for Autoblog this morning. "He named it the Axis Light, awesome!" I go check and sure enough I find:

"..That combination may say "stick" on paper, and it does... until you disengage the traction control. And trust me, you will.

With the system set to Normal, the Axis light on the dash flickers with the insistence of a Christmas tree with an electrical short, pulling power at the faintest hint of wheel spin..."

Hmm... awesome.

  1. What I interpreted from this: When in "Normal" mode and the Axis light flickers from the slightest bit of tailspin this is not an actual loss of traction warning but a warning to please consult Axisofoversteer.blogspot.com for further instructions on how to hoon:)

    Did I understand that correctly??

I don't get this light in my car; I don't drive hard enough to and from work, school, and church.
