How well do you drive?

CG found the top video on Rennlist, the bottom comes from an Italian forum, both shot around the same time in November. Top one has rain in the first part of the track and not as wet on the other side, typical conditions there it seems. Driver is Andre de Vries.

The bottom one was shot after some light snow had fallen, it's slower but then again, it's a Caterham r500 on R-comp tires. I would think keeping it off the aarmco is an accomplishment enough!

So, how well do you drive?

  1. So I haven't driven the Ring and I don't have a Caterham r500 w/ R-comp tires. I've got local autocross events and a stock 2011 Boxster Spyder. Should I film my next outing to show my outrageous stills?

  2. The GT3 driver has extensive track knowledge and is excellent. I've driven the Nurburgring, but would never venture out in the wet... I know my limited (lacking) driving skill.

I got a kick out of the Green GT3 RS, I'm sure driver couldn't believe someone was faster than him/her and wanted to pass.

The GT3 drivers slow hands in variable conditions is commendable.

  4. Also interesting how the Porsche goes from hand over hand oversteer in the slower sections at the begining to bags of understeer in the faster sections at the end.
Obviously the damp plays a big part but what difference is the aero making?

(sorry for anon post, 1st timer and in a hurry)
