This past week end's events left you hankering for a time when Formula 1 was supposedly more pure and sporting?
...Well, it never really was that but for sure, balls swung a lot lower all around back then, as confirmed by James Hunt.

Don't forget to keep an eye out for Flat Out, the new series coming from out friends at Mito Media.

No matter what the era is, it takes a set to drive into turn 1 at 10/10 in an F1 car. Considering the number of fatalities in the 50/60/70's, tho, maybe those guys really did have trouble walking.

ReplyDeleteaxis, i really enjoy your comments and your attitude towards f1 and racing in general. i couldn't agree with you more.
At 2:16 - who was it thumping James hunt?!
ReplyDelete@ intensive driving
ReplyDeleteIt was a marshal or track attendant trying to help him out of the car. If you watch the full clip of that scene Hunt was nearly standing in traffic yelling at Depaillier for pushing him into the wall.
