Mclaren showed up to the Jerez tests this morning with a curious sensor array to measure airflow coming off the front wing and over the tire. This provides the team with real world data to plug into the CFD computer programs which will be used for development as the season progresses as wind tunnel testing time is limited by the regulations. You might remember this other sensor, from one year ago which helped Mclaren measure airflow out of it's diffuser. (2010 Photos: F1 Fanatic )
