Pagani Zonda F Clubsport Nürburgring lap.

The latest installment of the Supercar Movies/Black Falcon supertest has been published. Can the Pagani Zonda F Clubsport better the Maserati MC12's lap time? The big Maserati used it's superior aerodynamics to overcome a power disadvantage and less than perfect brakes and was faster than both the Enzo Ferrari and the heavy Koenigsegg CCX.

The Zonda gets good marks for it's engine and brakes, not so good marks for wht I always objected to about the car , the gawdy non-funtional interior. From the video it looks like the car would be faster with some of the understeer dialled out, the driver has to use massive amounts of lock and the front tires scream for mercy in all the tighter sections.

    The design, the character (neither Ferrari or Lambo copycat), and with performance to match (lightest of the Supercars!)

  4. The Zonda still got beat by the Maserati... power of aerodynamics and good setup I guess (The MC12 is the only one of these cars that is actually raced)

  5. Apparently the Zonda had dirty fuel issues and was misfiring towards the end of the lap. Only .15 seconds off the MC12 with misfires is not bad :)

    It almost looks like the Maserati might win by default because its the only supercar that hasn't had some sort of issue during the flying lap!

  6. all those super cars together, with not so super performance. Lame.

    Viper ACR, $100k now, reliable, faster and cheaper. It looks good and mean as well.

    If you get the chance to share track time with a fast driven one, you will understand.

  7. Honestly, at the same curb weight as the McLaren F1, the Zonda F (for Fangio) should've gone much, much faster.
