  2. this is really more a test for tomorrow when the race will be tape delayed on on Fox.

  3. The main reason for the spli posts is that many people complained that with all the videos the page often took too long to load.

  4. Oh thats funny, one of the chief complainers about that was me (as anonymous), so I like the new format. This tape delay stuff is obnoxious, I hope fox finds F1 is too obscure to show anywhere but speed so we can watch it live with our beloved commentators.

Looks like today's feed is straight from ITV though...

  6. I have to say, the pre-show on ITV has been fantastic. The onboard with Hamilton from last year just made you wonder why in the world they would not want to race at Silverstone....what an amazing track.

  7. I didn't realize they were doing a pre-race, I have been waiting for speed to come on. As for silverstone, apparently the track facilities are below average and the road in is a two lane country b-road, not quite adequate for hundreds of thousands. Despite all that, silverstone is just too important to be left off the calendar. How can there be just one GP in England with all but three teams being based there? Even spain has two GPs, and i would never want to give up spa, but is there a single Belgian watching F1 (or Bahraini, besides the prince, or any non-Japanee Asians for that matter)? Bernie admits he doesn't care about track attendance as long as he gets his tv money, but it seems sad to throw away the great old tracks in favor of middle eastern and asian countries that want to subsidize the GPs, despite local apathy towards the sport.

  8. I hate that Speed does not really show qualy live...they tape delay the first two sessions so they can have commercials in every 5 minutes...

  9. Yeah, ive been watching speed and they are about 9 minutes behind, but I much prefer speed to ITV.

  11. Fantastic qualifying....

    Kovalainen
    Webber
    Raikkonen!

Hamilton made a big mistake, then strangely did not go in the pits and finally could not improve on his final lap.
