How the Germans learned to drift: natural selection at the ring, circa 1970.

The ones who made it out alive must have became Stefan "Sideways" Roser....

One has to admire the advances in passive and active safety made in the last 30 or so years. Having said that, some of those beetles look pretty damn good in rollovers....unless the door opened and the driver fell out that is!

I also liked what looks to be an early attempt at the multiple BMW ring-taxi drifts as perfomed by gaggle of 2002's.
