Pastor sauce

Major face palm moment courtesy of Lotus's Pastor Maldonado who thought it  would be a great idea to dive-bomb Gutierrez as he was exiting the pits.

Someone please ban this tool.

  1. I have yet to forgive my hero Frank Williams aka The Professor X of F1, for taking Chavez money and giving this dumb-ass a shot at the big time. The guy is a total joke. Everyone knows it. And Maldonado knows it as well. Whats odd too is that Gutierrez overshot his apex by a good what looks to be maybe six or seven feet and Maldonado still carried enough speed down the inside to pop him over.

  2. Bet he said "I just lost my rear a bit" gain... "just a normal incident"

  3. Definitely wouldn't mind seeing his Super License revoked... Maldonado is the crash king, the new version of Juan Pablo Montoya except without any skill.

  4. Lots of questions back home about how much money was kicked back to Mr.Tool from how much Williams 'admitted' they were paid to them by PDVSA in 2013... Seems there is a difference of opinion between on how many Bolivars were converted to British Pounds. Williams internet rumors say 29M Pounds was the bill yet many back home say double the amount of equivalent Bolivars were actually converted... No one knows the truth and the pin up Sports Minister has suddenly shut down the 'sportsman investigation'. Mr Tool's buddy EJ has suddenly disapeared off the racing radar - some say hiding out in Miami. Mr. Tool is a hero back home so not much action was expected although most say Lotus are only getting a percentage this year compared to what Williams got last year. Mr. Tool holds the distinction of enjoying what has to be a record level of personal financial support to the point where he really is on a whole other level compared to what we call a pay driver. There is no hope that F1 will take any action against Mr.Tools lack of driving abilities given the fact that Lotus is surviving on the backsides of Venezuelan oil money.

  5. I wouldn't be shocked if Gutierrez saw a Lotus and decided to give a little room "just in case". I mean, after all, Lotus is Super Crash Brothers this year. Not that it matters. Maldonado wasn't going to make the corner at all.

That being said, what's even more screwed up about this whole thing, IMHO, is the penalty. Last race, Daniel Ricciardo as released from his pit box with a wheel that was not attached correctly. For this, which was not his fault (lollypop said go), he was handed a stop and go, and a 10 spot grid drop. Maldonado makes a totally bone head ed move, causes a very serious accident, gets a stop and go and 5 spots. Yeah, he got 3 points on his license but the worse that will do to him in the long run is a one race ban. He just needs a revoked license.

  6. The big elephant here and no one is talking ... and is kind of strange that for this blog no one say something...
is the the massive fail on the FIA regulation regarding the lower nose.

That accident shows that the new dicks are more dangerous than in the past, as the car are being lifted like shit in a shovel.

PD: Maldonado moves is a t-bone move... but in the past it will be a simple crash.

  7. There were rumors of complaints by the teams to the FIA about this issue before the accident. As with all rumors, they're just that. It's hard to tell from the video because the angle isn't just right, if Gutierrez's car actually landed on Maldonado's nose. It kind of looked like wheel to wheel contact. If he had come down on the nose, either this would have happened or we'd be looking at a very hurt / dead Pastor due to trying to catch a Sauber with his face. Both scenarios suck. The FIA really needs to look deeply into this, Perhaps they should have mandated much stronger side pods instead of a lower nose.

  8. Look at the executive summary, the post above this one... Minute 7:40
The contact is with the tire but that list the car and the it hit the left tusk and that sends the car to do some flip flaps.

  9. No, it did not. The tires contacting one another is what caused them to flip. The initial contact, tire on tire, got the car off the ground, and then the right rear basically drove over the left front and he was flipping. The noses had nothing to do with it.
