You've heard a lot about it. If you track, you certainly have experienced it but do you really know what it is and why it happens? This video by Dunlop will help.



  1. Good video that. The intro is from the Autosport show, very impressive seeing the drifters giving it the full treatment inside in an arena.

    My worst experience with tyres on a trackday was when I noticed that only the bottom half of the word bridgestone was left. That and the fact the rest of the tyre was visibly bubbling.

    I was a proper track noob and actually had to drive home on those. In the Scottish rain.

  2. Underinflation and lack of camber will do that pretty quickly! we've all been there :)
