Renault goes Retro

Since most sponsors will probably steer clear of Renault for a while (unless they start winning that is) La REgie did the next best thing, as expected it took Vitaly Petrov's 15 million Euro check and painted the car in the historic yellow and black of the late 1970's. They also took pains to completely hide their rear diffuser lending weight to the voices fearing that F1 is headed to another crapstorm over rules interpretation this coming season.

  2. Reminds me of the late '90s Jordon B&H livery.

  5. I love it. Also can't help but notice that this livery appears to be exposing . . . for better or worse . . . those of us who remember the 70's. I immediately saw the livery as an homage to the Renault Turbo above.

I get the B&H Jordan connection, but that never entered my mind.
