Literally... Valentino Rossi competed in an FIA GT3 race, the Six Hours of Vallelunga last week. Was in the running for a top 5 finish when, with about 8 minutes to go, his F430 did what Ferraris are known to do from time to time and burst into flames....

Interesting the numbers on the side of the car. Very "stockcar" looking rather than a traditional "european" number panel.
