Red Bull Air Racing is not *real* air racing, a-la www.airrace.org , but it is rather an "airplane autocross" or "airplane gymkhana" wherein you take the course alone and try to a) set the fastest time, and b) earn the most style points doing it. Coincidentally the RB course is marked by giant inflatable "cones" that look alot like autocross cones.
