Because Moto GP

Marc Marquez and Andrea Iannone swapped positions an amazing 15 times in the closing stages of the 2015 French Moto GP race at Le Mans.

The Honda and Ducati riders were scrapping for fourth in a race which was dominated by Jorge Lorenzo from championship leader Valentino Rossi. Third place went to Ducati's Andrea Dovizioso.

Strange seeing Honda off the podium and Marquez off balance and down in the points. You almost have to wonder if Honda's F1 effort might in some way be weighing on their Moto GP development this season.

Of his game or not, Marquez did put on a hell of a show with "Crazy Joe" Iannone. Marc eventually built enough of a gap and finished fourth.

Amazing.

  1. Another nice piece of video ... Thanks.... No MotoGP coverage on my cable package.... And good thing as perhaps my days of following F1 would be over! As it is, like Bernie , im getting older so less passing is easier on the blood pressure...

  2. I've been an F1 fan since 1961 but when it comes to stand up and scream, wheel to wheel full on racing. MotoGP has it hands down. We might see a duel like this in F1 once every few years - in MotoGP it's in almost every race and often for the lead!

  3. At 2:21, "He was looking for the squirt up the inside!" Man that sounds like me with my girlfriend last night.

BRAVO TO AXIS FOR THE MOTO GP POSTS!!! Axis should put more Moto GP articles and vids on the site. Rossi is probably the best personality right now in all of global motorsport.

  4. You can't ask for more than that. Thanks for sharing. Like I've been saying, close racing like this is possible because these bikes rely on pure mechanical grip and no downforce. F1 take note.
