Carrera Cup Le Mans was a cracking race.

If it's paved, you can race on it
Since everyone else is covering the big race at LeMans, we'll give you a taste of one of the supporting races.

The French and the British Porsche Cup Championships joined for  a special one off race on the morning of the 24 Hours.

62 x GT3
62 Porsche GT3 Cup cars, that's nine more than started the feature race, attacked the Circuit de La Sarthe without mercy for 45 minutes, it was a cracking race.  Hats off to the amazing crew at Radiolemans for being able to keep track of all those GT3s.

If you have not seen it, I will not spoil it for you, suffice it to say you best stick to it until the very end.

Estre at Daytona in 2012
We also cannot help but take credit where, frankly,  none is due as two Axis related drivers were involved:  pole sitter Kevin Estre was part of the Axis crew in his first ever Daytona 24 in 2012.  I remember discussing with CG how Kevin would be someone you would definitively hear of in years to come and he has not disappointed.
In the amateur ranks, our friend Sergio Negroni who flew the Axis colors in the 2012 Nürburgring 24, had a great race, starting a 51st but finishing 35th!

Cheers guys!
Negroni (211) on the attack.
