The racing is so much closer and exciting in GT. Right now GT racing is so much more relevant, just hearing the Farraris, BMW and Corvettes race makes the LMP feel a little half-hearted.Keithhttp://overshadowed.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17940643.post-78362526769539364382010-05-23T11:31:45.550-04:002010-05-23T11:31:45.550-04:00Yesterdays GT race was great in Laguna. The vette spent a good 20 minutes blocking every passing attempt and putting the Flying Lizard Porsche into the sand every chance he could with about 1:20hr left to go in the race for the lead. I guess they are still upset about last years turn of events ;)

Also the last lap I thought the BMW was going to do the same thing the Vette did last year and punt the FL Porsche into the last corner, he was sooo close entering I thought the was going to divebomb and move him up a groove FTW.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03884358534052232708noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17940643.post-18055654854452811752010-05-23T11:11:48.339-04:002010-05-23T11:11:48.339-04:00Yeahh!!! They are real "normal" cars, while the Wings-n-Things I find them less interesting as time goes by, while the lack of fenders and too much aero kills most of the racecraft you see in GTs.

I have no problem if in the future GT1 is the pinnacle of motorsports.CGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03629683455848978344noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17940643.post-24509574641106257302010-05-23T11:00:01.634-04:002010-05-23T11:00:01.634-04:00Great post.
